Your providers, your rates
Email and text on your terms
Ronde never charges you for messages. Connect your own email provider (Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, or Postmark) and your own Twilio account for texts. You pay their rates directly, usually pennies per message.

Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Up to 5 students, 1 class series, lesson planning, attendance, events, and a student portal. No credit card, no time limit.
How do student payments work?
You connect your own Stripe account in Settings. When students buy from your shop, Stripe deposits the money directly to your bank. Ronde takes a small platform fee that decreases as you upgrade your plan.
What are platform fees?
Ronde takes a small percentage of sales processed through your shop: 5% on Free, 4% on Starter, 2% on Growth, 1% on Pro, and 0.5% on Studio. That is on top of standard Stripe processing fees (2.9% + 30 cents). Ronde never holds your funds. Everything goes directly to your Stripe account.
What about email and text messages?
Announcements always appear in the student portal for free. To also send them by email or text, you connect your own provider (Resend, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark for email, Twilio for texts). They bill you directly at their rates.
Can I switch plans anytime?
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime from your dashboard. If you downgrade, you keep access through the end of your billing period.
Do my students pay anything?
No. Student and parent portal access is always free. They only pay if you sell them something through your shop.
What dance styles does Ronde support?
All of them. Ronde is style agnostic: ballroom, ballet, hip hop, salsa, contemporary, you name it. You customize every dropdown (levels, student types, categories) to match your program.
